This is my kind of place. The meatloaf and mashed potatoes just made my tummy go yum yum!!! If I could I’d take this place back to Bakersfield, CA. My wife had the crab cake salad and chicken & rice soup and felt the same way. Great location and atmosphere. Asked for Kathy she’s the Best.

Excellent food in downtown Kernersville. Very nice atmosphere with a great variety of lunches. Food is always freshly prepared and very plentiful. Great location for a lunch meeting or lunch date. Would highly recommend supporting this locally owned establishment. The wait staff is very contentious and efficient. We have definitely added Mae's to our "favorites" list.

Always worth the ride from Summerfield to Kernersville to vists Maes' Starwberry cake is OVER THE TOP--- & its HOMEMADE. Tuna salad was wonderful. Our guest enjoyed her meal.
